K.N.W Diesel Inc. has been in business locally and successfully for 19 years. The company was started by Gary Woods, in a small one bay shop in the mid-eighties. Gary was factory trained by Detroit Diesel and has over 10 years experience working for them. He specialized in two-stroke Detroit Engines but also worked on other engines such as Caterpillar and Cummins.

K.N.W. Diesel obtained a great reputation and established a loyal customer base from all industries including marine, forestry and highway transportation. As K.N.W. Diesel became more popular, there was need for expansion. K.N.W. Diesel now has Five Bays complete with a machine shop and component rebuilding Dept., which includes five mechanics, two machinists and two partsmen who sell a variety of in stock items including genuine Detroit parts and aftermarket IPD Parts.
